Snowgrooming
Snow grooming is the work of shaping and packing the snow so the mountain is rideable. On a private place like Moose Springs Ranch there are no lifts and no public grooming crews. The trails stay smooth because someone goes out and does it.
Tracked machines push, pack, and level the snow. Fresh powder gets pressed down. Wind drifts get cut. Bumps and holes get filled. The result is a consistent surface that holds up for snowboarding and riding instead of turning into chopped, uneven terrain after the first few tracks.
It is slow, deliberate work. The same machines that haul people and gear up the mountain in winter are also the ones that keep the lines usable. No crowds. No waiting. Just the terrain and the effort to keep it smooth.
Invite only. If you’re here, you already know the rules.
